Lifestyle Sessions

The uniqueness of Lifestyle photography is that it is “posed” in a way that the photographer gives some direction and then documents the resulting natural responses.

This option is perfect if you're looking for a way to celebrate a special occasion or milestone, or if you're just looking for captured memories to treasure forever. Whether it's a long overdue family photo, a graduation or a birthday shoot with your friends, I have options for everything!

A Typical Session

Sessions typically last between 30 minutes to an hour and takes place at a location of your choice (I can suggest some beautiful locations if you're stuck for ideas!). My style is all about capturing real moments so don't worry about perfecting your poses - I will help by giving prompts during the session to make you feel more at ease and to create natural-looking photos.

Following your booking, you will receive a questionnaire and a 'what to wear' guide. I know how difficult it can be to pick the perfect outfit for yourself, let alone making sure it matches your partner or children's outfits. This guide is there to help you narrow down your options and provide some ideas. Yes - outfit is important but please don't spend lots of money on an outfit just for 1 photo session. What matters most is that you feel comfortable and that the clothes reflect your own style.

Session Fee and Package Prices

A £150 session fee is required within 72hr of booking to confirm your session (session fees may vary for locations outside of Dumfries and Galloway). Please be aware that if this fee is not paid within 72hr of booking then the session will be cancelled. Please note that this fee is not a deposit and is non-refundable - the session fee covers my fuel costs and my time used to design and shoot your session.

Following the session, you can preview your gallery online and choose which photos and package you would like. Payment of your chosen package is required within 72hr of receiving the preview to enable me to go ahead with the full editing process. The package price is an additional and separate payment to the session fee - this way, you are able to view the photos before making a decision on which package you would like to receive. The final gallery will be sent to you within 1 month and will be available to download for 14 days.
